About Orchards Feed
Orchards Feed was founded in 1889. Originally started as a simple country feed store where local farmers bought feed for their cows, pigs, chickens, and rabbits. The Carlson family purchased the business in 1989 and began to expand to food for dogs, cats, horses, small animals, and wild birds. Then in 2013 we opened the new 17,000SF building on the property and added Ace Hardware and Stihl to our line of products. We are a family-owned business with a focus on our customers and our community. We have been in business for more than 120 years, and it is our commitment to customer service and quality products that have stood the test of time and has made Orchards Feed a staple of the Orchards community for over a century.

I love Orchardβs feed! Itβs a really fun store to just meander around and great if you have something specific in mind, they are always stocked. My only complaint is they have very few shopping carts and when I have to go get a lot of dog food, nobody offers to help carry my food out to the car or bring around back so I can drive in and pick it up. I literally spent thousands of dollars on dog food at the store. Customer service is adequate, but the employees probably canβt carry a bag of dog food.

Really helpful, friendly staff. Very organized processes. All personel really go the extra mile for customers. Probably the best varied selection of garden supplies ...including inexpensive straw bales and bags of "all purpose sand." Same fir pet supplies. Huge selection of beautiful rose bushes! Interesting animals are housed and visit-able on site. (Today I even met a beautiful rabbit @ the counter!) Luv going there fir all above reasons + more!

Orchards feed is w wonderful place to shop and work! I shopped at the mill years ago and now the new big store is amazing. One stop shop for all your dog, cat, poultry and small animal needs. Plus the best and largest selection of bbq seasonings etc and so much more. Huge bird feed selection, gifts, local products, hardware etc. enjoy good prices, knowledgeable staff and great buyer programs for dog, cat and small animal feed. Also.... The garden area, huge and wonderful prices.

Great service. Limited selection. I went to Orchards feed because they sell and fill OPD 20 pound propane tanks. Places that both sell and fill are getting hard to find in my area. They were great. I called first, talked with a 77 year old guy, sorry I can't remember your name, who went and looked for me. I have two Mr Heaters. They require OPD tanks. The tank exchanges recycle and relabel old tanks forever, and you may not get OPD. I also picked up a toilet rebuild kit and a replacement toilet seat. However they didn't have the light switch I needed or any of the rubber inserts that go in the sink over a garbage disposal. Also, if you're allergic to rabbits or birds, they have them by the cash register and they are unavoidable.

This feed store is really amazing! Cute animals and they have more inside. Rabbits, birds etc. Lots of good quality choices for cats and dogs when it comes to food and toys. Lots of things I saw, I see in high end pet stores and for more money. So, I just need to figure out if saving a few bucks on my pets things is worth the drive to Vancouver. Just the experience of the store may be worth it now and then. Everyone was nice and they literally have everything!
